For a lifelong connection
Welcome to the The Old Girls' Association (OGA)!
The Association was founded in 1922 for the purpose of keeping Old Girls connected socially with each other and to the school. In the early yearsthe activities of the association were mainly holding annual meetings at school, general meetings, Old Girls' Day with Old Gilrs challenging current students at netball and tennis; bridge and card parties and dances held as fundraisers.
The purpose of the Association is to afford a recognised means of communication between the past and present pupils of St Hilda's School, and other school support groups, to promote social intercourse between Old Girls of St Hilda's School and to promote amoung Old Girls a permanent interest in the life, activities and progress of St Hilda's School.
The mindeset of generosity that formed the 1920's 'Association' is no less evident in the OGA today. Current members continue to celebrate their collective past while generously fundraising to shape the future of the school.
The OGA has played a significant part of the 100-year history of St Hilda's and looks forward to remaining relevant, supporting and connecting past students as the school sets forth on the next 100 years.
The OGA looks forward to continuing to work closely with St Hilda's to gather information about past students that may be been lost to the Association over time. This new platform is a great way to keep track of those who have changed their names after marriage or even changed addresses.
Welcome to the Rugbeian Society. I am particularly delighted to extend a warm greeting to our international alumni from Rugby School Thailand and Rugby School Japan. We are committed to fostering connections through sports sponsorships, reunions, networking events, and professional support. We proudly sponsor sports events, with teams in disciplines such as Association Football, Rackets, and Cricket. We also support the Rugbeian Trophies for the annual Crick Run.
If you have particular hobbies, sports, interests, or reunion ideas that you’d like to explore, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We are always eager to assist in creating new opportunities for our members. I look forward to meeting many of you at our events.
